I’ve always loved language, and I’ve always loved personal development but my journey began with retail management which brought me to Spain, from the UK around 30 years ago!
I don’t know whether it was the blue skies or the good wine, but Spain gave me particular energy that led me to create and build three companies, each focusing more and more on communication skills training and coaching. First, I ran a language school, then a business school and now a skills training consultancy which is Business Learning Solutions.

My bachelor’s degree was in Music, which taught me a lot about how to perform and connect with an audience – an essential component when presenting or public speaking in business.
After University I worked in financial & advertising sales where I learnt something very important: people don’t buy products/services, people only buy people. It’s extremely important to be able to connect with others.
With over 12 years as a Communications Coach & Consultant, my specialities include team, leadership & organizational communication together with presentation skills.

I’ve had a passion for helping salespeople grow for over 25 years.
I spent 21 years at Yell, which gave me a solid foundation in sales, customer service, soft skills, and management training. Fourteen of those years were in the Learning & Development department, supporting both salespeople and managers.
I specialise in telephone techniques, face-to-face training, and one-to-one coaching on the job.
For me, the real reward is seeing the impact my workshops make back in the workplace.
